For the second year, Loukoumi and Philoptochos are teaming up to Make a Difference!
 
Now through October 26th, regiater your organization and gather kids of all ages or register individually for Make A Difference with Loukoumi. Philoptochos Chapters gather GOYA, HOPE, Sunday School and Greek School children along with their parents, relatives, friends & neighbors to read Loukoumi's Good Deeds and its sequel Loukoumi's Gift. We are also pleased to welcome Kiwanis International Members as well as the national anti-bullying organization PACER into our program this year.
 
After the readings, ask kids to draw a picture of themselves with Loukoumi doing a good deed to Make a Difference in someone's life. Click here to register and download the forms.
 
They will also be asked to complete the sentence: "On October 26th, I will Make a Difference by..."
 
Encourage the children to actually perform that good deed, or perform a good deed together on October 26th,

Engage your Philoptochos Chapters in a Loukoumi Literacy Awareness Book Fundraiser. For details, please see attached book order form.
 
$2 from the sale of the Loukoumi books will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®.
 
In Kiwanis Fundraisers, $1.80 from the sale of the Loukoumi books will also be donated to Kiwanis' ELIMINATE Program (the cost of one vaccine).
 
Author Nick Katsoris will also donate $2 from the sale of ALL Loukoumi books sold through Philoptochos Chapters to the National Philoptochos Society, and will donate one book per book sold to the Philoptochos Chapter’s local charity of choice.
